Minister – Chris Lynch

Chris joined St Andrew’s as vicar in January 2023. He is married to Amanthi, and they have 2 children, Rose and Isaiah. He has a passion for the local church and seeing it grow and flourish. He loves teaching and preaching God’s Word, working with people of all ages, and seeing people reach their full potential in Christ.

His studies have included a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours in HRM) and an MDiv at Ridley Bible College. He has previously worked at NAB Bank in finance, as well as at St Luke’s Anglican Church in Frankston (2013-17) and St John’s Anglican Church in Highton (2018-22) in ministry. He has also played music around Melbourne in various bands, and has a keen interest in writing music (in general and for church).

He enjoys good coffee, sneaking Richmond Tigers references into his sermons, record shops and music, and seeing people become and grow as disciples of Jesus.
