This is a music program for pre-school children and their families from the local community.
Mainly Music is a fun music session for families with young children to enjoy together and children to grow developmentally.
We sing songs, some unique to Mainly Music and other familiar tunes, complete with actions, jumping, hopping, clapping and stamping!!! Children particularly enjoy the percussion instruments to make noise, shaking, banging and drumming.
At the conclusion of the 1/2hr music session, children enjoy sandwiches and fruit for snack time followed by approximately 45 minutes of play time. Indoor and outdoor games, toys, books and craft activities are available to explore and have fun.
Whilst the children are playing the adults are invited to enjoy morning tea and a chat with each other.
This program runs during school terms from 10.00 - 11.30am Monday mornings. The cost is $30 per term, which includes music, morning tea, and a great time!
There are usually between 30-35 children registered at any given time. We do not run a waiting list but start fresh the first Monday of each term.
